​MECHANICAL

Driving the car back from San Diego to Phoenix, I pushed it pretty hard across the desert to reveal possible issues. It ran straight and strong, no drips, noises, engine lights or computer codes. It has now been serviced by my pro mechanic shop, LSX Motorsports. Fresh oil change and other fluids & filters replaced as needed. New brake booster. This is a dependable daily driver, or preserve it in your collection. It's that nice.

INTERIOR

9.5 of 10. Seats, door panels, headliner, dash, carpets and all interior finishes are in excellent condition and show very little wear. Sun roof, leather seats, PB, PS, PW, PDL, 8-way power heated front seats, heated power mirrors, analog clock, power trunk and power gas tank release. Tilt, cruise, multiple reading lamps and power ports. ​ Wood-accent steering wheel is fitted with climate, cruise, and stereo controls.

​Premium THX sound system has nine speakers including a deck-mounted sub-woofer, EQ compression, and 6-CD changer in the trunk. This is one of the best factory car stereos I have ever heard, and I am a studio recording engineer.

EXTERIOR

9.5 of 10, nearly flawless glossy original paint. Not even a scuff on the bumpers. Pristine grille and chrome trim. Panels and gaps are straight and clean. Deluxe chrome alloy wheels, zero rash. Original xenon headlamps and tail lights are crystal clear. Windshield and all window glass and weather stripping are excellent. Engine bay is fully detailed. The huge 21-cubic-foot trunk includes a removable organizer compartment.

​Undercarriage has been professionally reconditioned to an astonishing "Barrett-Jackson" level (see photos). Floor pans show original glossy paint. Factory tags and chalk marks are still present. Car has obviously been garaged most of its life. Hard to believe it’s 20 years old.
