Super clean Lincoln Mark VIII, only 28k miles. Same 32 valve 4.6 L V8 as the SVT Cobra and Mercury Marauder. Mark VIII's have a serious cult following who hot-rod, customize, or meticulously preserve their originality. This one falls into the last category, with one-family senior citizen ownership.
An original car in Bright Toreador Red that lived its whole life in Santa Cruz, California before coming to Arizona in November 2024. The family I acquired it from confirmed that even though the clean Car Fax shows multiple owners, it was bought new by the grandmother in 1997, and the subsequent title transfers are between family members. Of course I cannot prove this, just reporting all my research. The Car Fax documents no accidents and 28k miles. I also have a full Marti Report, the gold standard in documentation for Ford/Lincoln/Mercury.
MECHANICAL
Car has been fully serviced by my pro mechanic shop, LSX Motorsports in Phoenix. No drips, noises, computer codes or engine lights. It needed very little in the way of repairs:
Fresh synthetic oil/filter
New upper and lower control arms left and right
New stabilizer bar control link
New struts up front
Rear air shock system fully serviced, fully functional

INTERIOR
9 of 10. Beautiful graphite gray leather seats, door panels, headliner, dash, carpets and all interior finishes in very nice condition. PB, PS, PW, PDL, 8-way power front seats, power mirrors, power trunk and power gas tank release. Tilt, cruise, JBL AM/FM/CD eight-speaker audio system.
EXTERIOR
9 of 10, nearly flawless original paint is still glossy. Body panels and gaps are straight and clean. Not even a scuff on the bumpers. One small barely noticeable soft dent in passenger rear quarter, can be seen in one of the photos. A pro detailer can probably make it disappear. Original xenon headlamps and tail lights. Headlamps occasionally show interior moisture after a carwash, but they dry quickly.
Original deluxe alloy wheels, very nice condition. Brand new Goodyear tires. Windshield and all window glass and weather stripping are very nice. Engine bay is fully detailed. Clean trunk with unused mini-spare and jack.
Undercarriage has been professionally reconditioned to a "Barrett-Jackson" level and is astonishingly clean (see photos). Floor pans show original glossy paint, and there is no rust, period. Factory tags and chalk marks are present. Car has obviously been garaged most of its life. Hard to believe it’s 28 years old.
INVESTMENT
For fifteen years I have focused on curating and restoring extremely clean, original, low mileage cars with excellent ownership history. As a result, I have repeat buyers all over the world. This Lincoln Mark VIII is an example of the same strategy I have maintained in restoring over 90 cars, and from experience I can tell you that Mark VIII’s are sleepers now are rising in value as investors move in. Very low mileage examples on Bring-a-Trailer, Barrett Jackson, Mecum, and Hemmings are bringing $18k to $20k. Now’s the time.
