This Limited Edition example is satisfyingly quick with its 4.6-liter V8 engine producing 224 horsepower and 272 pound-feet of torque. Has the very dependable 4R75E 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission.  The upgraded torque converter and rear-axle 3.27:1 gearing make for quick acceleration off the line. The rack-and-pinion steering and redesigned front suspension give it a sporty big car ride with great handling dynamics. The car has no apparent mechanical issues and performs flawlessly.

INTERIOR

The roomy interior accommodates six and all their luggage in the huge 21-cubic-foot trunk. Appointments include automatic climate control, two-tone leather seats, PB, PS, PW, PDL, 8-way power heated front seats, heated power mirrors, power trunk release, tilt, cruise, overhead console with universal remote capability, and multiple reading lamps.

The AM/FM/CD multi-speaker stereo sounds surprisingly great. Seats, door panels, headliner, dash, and all interior finishes are nearly flawless. All gauges, switches, lights, signals, climate control, window and seat motors, clock, etc, are fully functional.​

 

EXTERIOR

Body panels are very clean and straight. The beautiful silver-green paint is original, still very glossy with all pin striping intact. The canvas carriage top is in excellent condition. The only noticeable flaw regards some of the faux chrome body trim which has pitting. Replacement trim pieces are available in the aftermarket and relatively easy to install. Original headlamps have crystal clear light bezels, no fading. All glass and weather stripping are excellent. The undercarriage is clean. The factory alloy wheels are pristine and wrapped with nearly new tires.
